Today I have creative ideas.
So I want to make a post with tips for make you own style.
I hope you have something on it.
Go through your closet and make four piles. In the first pile, put everything that you want to keep. This pile can end up very small - don't worry about that. The second pile is for clothes that you can give away or donate. The third pile is for clothes that are so ruined that they cannot be worn. These can later be made into rags or thrown out. The last pile should have clothes that you won't wear, but like something about it- maybe it's the color, or it's made of a cool fabric.
-Only buy hats and earrings that will look ok with your outfits, or else you probably won't wear them.
-Follow the three F's - Flatters, Fits, Finances.
-Bring a NICE friend who is not afraid to lightly do constructive criticism with you while you shop. This way you will get an honest, but not hurtful opinion of your style. Who knows? Your friend might LOVE your outfits!
-Don't let people discourage you.
-Don't dwell on it if someone copies you. There's more to you than your style, and there's more to your style than that one aspect. Take it as a compliment and find something new.
-Don't be afraid to copy. If you admire someone's style, borrow ideas from them. Just avoid becoming a mirror image of them, and only do a maximum of 4 things like them, or else they might get freaked out.
-Wear colors that make you feel happy and pretty. When you feel good in your clothes, you'll look good in your clothes!
-Most important of all, be yourself. Creating a personal style is really just wearing what you want. Think more positively and be more constructive and expressive with your ideas and abilities.
-When clearing out your wardrobe, don't keep things just because your family and friends bought you them and it would hurt their feelings, they will understand that you are experimenting with your style. Make sure they know though or it will be even worse when they buy you something similar and say 'you liked it before so i bought you another' and give you a huge smile.
-If you want to really be unique, you can make your own clothes and accessories. Though, only do this if you are experienced in sewing, crocheting, etc.
I also have some great site's for create your own styl.
